J. Mynářová is an Associate Professor of Egyptology at the Czech Institute of Egyptology, Charles University in Prague. She acquired her PhD. in Philology - Languages of Asia and Africa. Stevenson was Research Fellow at the UCL Institute of Archaeology in From to she worked as a Researcher in World Archaeology at the Pitt Rivers Museum.
